New Announcements: Holden End of an Era Models + New Limited Edition Prints

Authentic Collectables are very proud to announce three new models in a variety of scales commemorating the 'End of an Era' for Holden in the Australian Touring Car / Supercars Championship.

The new announcements include an absolutely incredible Holden VF Commodore End of an Era Special Edition we have created with renowned motorsport designer Peter Hughes and the two Walkinshaw Andretti United ZB Commodores being raced at the 2022 Adelaide 500 featuring the team's stunning Holden Tribute livery, marking the last round to ever be raced in a Holden.

The golden End of an Era model which we will be replicating in 1:18, 1:43 and 1:12 scales is a sight to behold and shapes as a collectable that every Holden fan should have.

Following on from the Holden 600 Race Wins Celebration model we collaborated with Peter Hughes on earlier this year  - which was recently released in 1:18 and has since sold out from us, with the 1:43 and 1:12 editions due to arrive early in the new year - the End of an Era model lifts the bar even higher.

Featuring a tribute gold and black colour combination with a theme that screams 'Holden Forever' in Peter Hughes' own words, the livery of this model should have a familiar feel for Holden motorsport fans. The design celebrates a golden era for Holden in ATCC/Supercars and the standing the brand holds in the history of Australian motorsport, a standing that may never be surpassed.

The incredible livery and colour combination of the model is further enhanced by various Holden statistics on the roof, the 1960-2022 dates on the car marking the time the brand raced in ATCC/Supercars, the southern cross on the sides of the rear bumper and End of an Era wording across the model.

Moving on to another Holden tribute livery that will actually be raced on track, Walkinshaw Andretti United have absolutely knocked it out of the park with their version which we're proud - and extremely excited - to be replicating in both 1:18 and 1:43 scales for collectors.

Coincidently featuring a livery also designed by Peter Hughes, the #2 Mobil 1 NTI Racing Nick Percat entry and Chaz Mostert's #25 Mobil 1 Optus Racing Commodore both feature a black and white colour combination including the famous lion and helmet on the sides, reminiscent of the cars raced in the early 90s by the team.

There's a team like no other in pit lane that has had the long standing association with Holden as Walkinshaw Andretti United after racing as the offical factory backed team for many years and these models will be highly sought after collectors items in years to come.

Featuring a range of imagery and a timeline of key moments this iconic motorsport team has enjoyed with Holden from their first race overseas in 1987 to the last in a Holden at the 2022 Adelaide 500, this print measures 1000mmm x 590mm printed offset on 250gsm matte stock in a hand numbered limited edition.

We're also proud to announce two new limited edition illustrated prints by renowned international artist Chris Rathbone. The first is a new addition to the Legends of Holden Motorsport collection featuring the 1990 Bathurst 1000 winner along with an exclusive edition of 300 produced for Chevrolet Racing titled the New Era featuring the new Gen3 Camaro alongside the iconic Bob Jane Camaro.

Both prints measure 841mm x 594mm and are printed offset on 250gsm matte stock in hand numbered limited editions.
